The Nile River Advantages





The Nile River was the most important thing to the Egyptians. The Nile was the Eygiptians resource when they did not have rain. The Nile River gave them water to grow crops, drink, take showers,etc. The Nile actually ran to north Egypt instead of south. The Nile River brought life to Egypt and it also let it let it thrive. The river was so important that a Greek historian named Herodotus called Egypt The Gift Of Nile. The Nile cuts right through the desert of Upper Eygept. There it created a fertile river valley about 13 miles wide. The Nile use to flood but Egyptians thought it was the best thing that could happen unlike the Mesopotamians.
